- Short lifetime of filter bags - only 6-8 months - caused by high air-to-cloth ratio
- Too high emissions
Solution:
By replacing the existing filter bags Pleated Bags from Nordic Air Filtration the following results were obtained:
- The Spunbound media optimized filtration efficiency, thus lowering the emission
- The larger filtration area (from 190m2 to 532m2) lowered the air-to-cloth ratio (from 184 m3/m2/h to 56 m3/m2/h)
