TurboWeb High Efficiency filter resulted in reduction of water wash from every 6-8 weeks to once in 1,5 year

Coastal environment and located in an industrial area close to a steel furnace. The North Sea and the location in an industrial area equals high humidity, salty and polluted ambience air.

Problem:

  • The customer wanted to stabilize Dp and reduce water wash.
  • Previous fiters needed water wash every 6-8 weeks, had a life cycle of 2 years and initial Dp of 250Pa. Change out DP was 500Pa.

Solution:

Installation of Nordic Air Filtration’s cylindrical filter with TurboWeb HE High Efficiency filter with coalescer.

Results:

  • Initial Dp was 250Pa. After 2,5 years, the Dp was only 300Pa.
  • Offline water-wash is now conducted every quarter, only due to normal maintenance.
